GETTING IN A LOCAL’S PANTS

Favorite coffee shop? Satsuma or Solo Expresso.

Best Po’ boy? This is an ongoing argument between locals, but I prefer a shrimp po’boy at Guy’s in Uptown. My husband likes the roast beef po’boy at  Frady’s.

Best yoga studio? Wild Lotus Yoga or for moms, Kindred Studios where you can find Mommy & Me Yoga, Barre and Spin classes for you and your babe.

Best musicians play where? Walk down Frenchmen street or head to Preservation Hall in the French Quarter for local Jazz, but of course drinking Bachannal Wine in the Bywater listening to live music is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening.

Prettiest spot in town? Crescent Park, which runs 1 mile along the Mississippi River, has the most breath taking views of downtown.

Favorite place to unwind? In New Orleans, most of us unwind on our front porch with a cocktail, chatting with neighbors.

Favorite restaurant? Gosh, there are so many it’s hard to pick a favorite.  Creole Cuisine: Jacque-Imo’s. Brunch: Atchafalaya. Newest Fav: Shaya.

Best place to make out? City Park under a mossy oak tree.

Hottest people are where? Running in Audubon Park.

Coolest thing about New Orleans? There is a spirit about this city that is hard to describe, but people are really proud to call it home. This city isn’t trying to be anyone else. Its original and works hard to preserve its history. There are more festivals in this city than weekends in the year! We are always finding a reason to celebrate. It’s why so many people that are from here move back and transplants don’t leave.

One perfect day in New Orleans? Morning stroll through Audobon Park, breakfast at Surrey’s in Uptown, shopping down Magazine Street, followed by afternoon cocktails at the Columns Hotel, and then head to Dinner at SoBu, and to wrap up the evening, check out some live music in the French Quarter.

In your opinion, if New Orleans were a pair of pants, what would they be? Party pants. Laissez les bons temps rouler!!
